The "Blue Crew" was started in 2003-04 to develop character, responsibility and work ethic. We wanted to have an organization that helped students feel good about not participating in alcohol and drugs. The group wants students to achieve obstacles that are very intimidating but gain great rewards for completion. We want students to develop a mental toughness to stand up and do what is right in all aspects of their lives. We also want to develop a support group that has a family atmosphere and demands certain expectations for members to uphold. We are asking for your help in keeping this organization afloat. It takes about $35.00 per student who completes these tasks so that they can reap the benefits of the organization. After the students are sworn in they give back to the community in ways that reach out to our children in the elementary and our community.
